From Paris, With Love.

Remember I told you that I went to Paris during my last year's summer holiday?

I got myself this scarf as a souvenir from a small souvenir shop by the street.  Whenever I put on this scarf, it reminds me of the scorching sun accompanied by the breezy wind in Paris, not to mention its amazing intricately designed architecture of buildings and all the lovely sights I've came across.

I recall walking down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. All the upscale shops with luxury brands can be found in this area. I enjoyed walking along the street and walking into random branded shops just to browse through their goods, leaving my fingerprints everywhere. :P Well, they are WAY BEYOND my budget.

So I've been to one of the richest street in the world and several unknown areas in a few developing countries. The stark differences of the way people live widen my horizons. I learnt to appreciate all the things that I'm blessed with. One thing I learnt from these people is that they continue to survive with all the means they have, be it the rich or the poor. All of us are born into different families. Some are born with a silver spoon in the mouth, some are born abandoned, some are born into a poor family, but this doesn't stop us from living, because all of us are gifted with Life.

The recent news about the missing MH370 have left many heartbroken, disappointed and fueled with boiling anger. So many theories have been conceptualized, yet the mystery remains unsolved with the black box nowhere to be found. However, seeing how the people and countries coming together to offer their help and supports give us a glimpse of hope that humanity still exists. One little kind action from a person could mean so much more to those who are affected. I know it's not easy dealing with loss(es), especially when there's no evident closure to it. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." No doubt it's not easy, and tears will continue to flow, but I hope that the care and supports offered by others will help to ease their pain. My heartfelt condolences to the affected families on the loss of their loved ones. I pray that you will be strong. May the souls RIP.
